Please Note: Certain online courses may have restricted registrations for students admitted to specific degree programs.

Tuition & Fee Information

• In Fall and Spring semesters, you can register for online courses through the CSU Online website. If you register via this website, you will pay the online tuition rate for that course, which is posted on the course page.

• In Summer semesters, you must register for online courses through RAMweb. When you register for online courses through RAMweb, you will pay your typical on-campus tuition rate.

• Students pay their tuition for on-campus and online courses via RAMweb. To see an itemized receipt of tuition costs, please connect with the Office of Financial Aid.

• If you want to take all online courses in a semester, please first talk with the Office of Financial Aid to see if this will affect any scholarships, grants, or loans that you are taking out.

• Note: If you take 5 credits or less of on-campus coursework in a semester, you will only pay the partial student fee. As such, you will no longer have access to the Counseling Center, the Recreation Center, Intramural/Club sports, “free” student tickets to athletic events. However, you would still have access to all other student resources. You can pay out-of-pocket for any of the above resources in that semester if you wish to still access them.

• Students who are registered in 6 credits or more of on-campus coursework in a semester will pay the full student fee and would retain access to all student resources. Please review tuition billing information for more details.
  
  

Steps to enroll in a course

• Create an account on the CSU Online website.
• Review course pages (including drop and withdrawal deadlines on each course page).
• If a course is open for registration, there will be an orange button on the course page indicating “add to my courses.”
• Once you have added the courses you want to take for a semester, click the shopping cart icon in the top right corner of the screen.
• Review the tuition information provided and if you want to register for the courses, click the “Begin registration” button.
• Follow the steps to complete your registration. If you are registering for courses with pre-requisites, you will have to confirm you meet the pre-requisite during one of the registration steps.
• You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of submitting all registration steps. 
• Typically, courses will be shown in RAMweb prior to receiving the confirmation email.
• Courses do not show in Canvas until the first day when the course begins.
